Woman’s Club of Zephyrhills Recently the club had the pleasure of hearing from Larnelle Scott, community outreach coordinator for the State of Florida, for the Pasco Guardian ad Litem Program. Scott gave an overview of the GAL program, and information about how to volunteer. Many children in Pasco County are in need of this important program. The Woman’s Club donated 10 birthday bags, containing everything a GAL would need to give a party to a child in the program. Scott is pictured at left with several members of the Woman’s Club. The Woman’s Club meets on the first Friday of the month at 12 noon, and is a service organization supporting community agencies.

Zephyrhills Art Club Attention art lovers: the next meeting will be held Feb. 20 at Alice Hall, Zephyr Park, 38116 Fifth Ave. This month there will be demonstrations by some of the talented artists of the club. Community Gardener Master Course Starting a community garden takes more than simple gardening knowledge. Find out how to start and sustain a community garden with the UF/IFAS Extension Pasco County, Community Gardener Master Course. This course will be composed of three 4-hour sessions, taking place over successive Saturdays from 8 a.m.-12 p.m. at the Stallings Building, 15029 14th St., Dade City.
